Terms of Service

1. Accounts and access

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. Provide accurate information, protect your credentials and notify us promptly of unauthorized access. You are responsible for actions you authorize and for managing access to shared workspaces. Account sharing, resale of access and attempts to bypass limits are prohibited unless we agree otherwise in writing.

2. Your content and permissions

You retain the rights you hold in your music, recordings, artwork, lyrics and other uploads. You grant us a non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, convert, transmit and display that content as needed to provide the features you request, maintain the service, resolve support requests and comply with law. This includes using service providers for those purposes and delivering releases to the destinations you select.

You must own or obtain all required rights, licenses, permissions and consents, including rights in samples, compositions, performances, artwork, names, likenesses and collaborators’ contributions. You are responsible for metadata, royalty allocations and instructions you submit. Uploading content does not transfer those responsibilities to us. This service license does not authorize us to sell your music or use it in unrelated advertising.

3. Acceptable use and enforcement

Do not use tothestarz for unlawful or infringing content, fraud, impersonation, harassment, malware, unauthorized access, artificial streaming, manipulation of royalties or evasion of payment or usage controls. Do not scrape private content, overload the service or remove rights notices.

We may reject content, pause processing, limit access or suspend an account when reasonably necessary to investigate suspected violations, protect the service, address non-payment or comply with legal or platform requirements. Where lawful and practical, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact support. We may act immediately when delay would create a security, legal or material financial risk.

4. Trials, plans and credits

The landing-page offer gives an eligible new account seven consecutive days of Creator access from registration. It requires no payment card and does not automatically become a paid subscription. After expiry, Free limits apply unless another entitlement is active. The trial includes one starting credit allowance based on Creator’s configured allowance at signup. It does not promise unlimited paid processing. Re-registering to evade trial or credit limits is prohibited.

Prices, plan limits, credit costs, currencies, renewal terms and applicable taxes are shown in the service or checkout before purchase. A paid subscription begins only when you choose and complete its purchase. Recurring subscriptions renew according to the terms shown at checkout until cancelled. Changes to prices or material plan terms apply prospectively with notice where required; they do not retroactively change completed purchases.

Credits are service units, not money, stored value or an investment. They are not transferable or redeemable for cash except where law requires. Processing may reserve credits before completion. Failed jobs are handled under the service’s credit refund rules. Cancelling renewal normally preserves access through the paid period. Unless checkout states otherwise, unused time or credits are not refundable solely because you change your mind, subject to mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, refund and remedy rights. Contact support if you believe a charge or credit deduction is incorrect.

5. Distribution and royalties

Submitting a release requests review and delivery; it does not guarantee acceptance, a release date, placement, streams, revenue or continued availability on any third-party service. Stores and distribution partners apply their own rules and may delay, reject, remove or adjust a release. You must submit complete and accurate materials with sufficient lead time.

The applicable distribution agreement and the royalty split displayed for your plan govern accounting and payouts. Reporting may be delayed or adjusted by partners. Royalties may be subject to documented partner adjustments, taxes, fraud investigations or rights disputes. Any withholding must have a valid contractual or legal basis. A marketing preview is not a promise of earnings.

6. Generated content and third-party tools

Automated and AI outputs can be inaccurate, similar to other works or unsuitable for your intended use. You must review results, clear required rights and assess suitability before publication. We do not guarantee that generated material is unique, copyrightable or free from third-party claims. Any rights we can pass through are subject to applicable law and the terms of the relevant tool or provider. Third-party services may have separate terms and availability limits.

7. Availability, changes and backups

We work to maintain the service, but do not promise uninterrupted availability, a particular processing time or permanent availability of every feature. Maintenance, provider failures and events beyond our reasonable control can interrupt service. Keep independent backups of source files and important outputs. We may improve or change features; material reductions affecting paid access will be handled with the notice and remedies required by law.

8. Responsibility and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without additional warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate instructions, content you lack rights to use, unauthorized changes by collaborators or third-party decisions outside our control.

For business customers, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude indirect or consequential losses, lost profits and lost opportunities, and our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the amounts you paid us for the service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Business customers must reimburse reasonable losses and defense costs arising from third-party claims caused by their unlawful content or material breach, subject to prompt notice, reasonable cooperation and no settlement imposing obligations on them without consent.

Nothing excludes liability for fraud, intentional wrongdoing, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. These limitations apply only to the extent enforceable in your circumstances.

9. Ending access and resolving issues

You may stop using the service and contact support to close your account. Cancel recurring subscriptions separately before their next renewal. Closing an account does not reverse completed distribution or automatically remove content from third-party platforms; takedowns require the applicable process. Outstanding obligations, permitted record retention, rights granted for completed processing and clauses intended to survive termination remain effective.

Contact support first so we can try to resolve a dispute. These Terms do not require you to give up access to courts, regulators or mandatory protections in your country. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains effective where possible. We may update these Terms with a revised date and provide notice of material changes where required. Changes do not remove rights already accrued.
